Genre: Contemporary Romance

The one. The only. Leo Maddox.

Leo’s cocky. He’s mean. He’s gorgeous. He’s never learned the meaning of the word no. He’s the twenty-one-year-old, billionaire grandson of a hotel mogul. He has vacation homes he’s never been to and cars he doesn’t drive. Women. Fashion. Alcohol. There’s nothing he can’t get. Well…almost nothing.

He’s going to get the only girl he’s ever wanted. So what if she has a new boyfriend. So what if she loathes his very existence. Clara belongs with him and he’s going to prove it to her by winning her heart.

This New Adult Romance is told entirely from Leo Maddox’s POV. It can be read before, after, or in place of He Belongs With Me. Recommended for readers 18+ due to strong language and sexy scenes.

I have a sick, twisted, fucked up mind. Hey, I’m Leo Maddox. All that comes with the territory. But I am who I am…and it’s not really who I want to be. I’ve been trying to break free from my own personal stereotype my entire life. Nothing ever seems to change. But I’ve come to my breaking point. Either change or give the fuck up.
And I will never give the fuck up.
So here goes…
* * *
I woke up in a cold sweat, gasping for a decent breath. One brutal image played on repeat in my mind. The girl I loved—the girl I’d loved my entire life—with her plump little lips circling another man’s…
Well, you get the idea.
And he wasn’t just any man. In the dream, the man was her husband. Somehow that made this vision even more brutal for me. He was a dorky husband too. Glasses. Not that there is anything wrong with glasses. On occasion I wear them myself. Polo Shirt—that he still wore during their horrific love-making act. Silver Prius parked outside in their moderately sized driveway. Why the Prius stood out in my mind? Who knows? Like I said, my mind can be a weird, strange place.
And Clara was happy. She was happily married to this dorky sap from my dream. They were trying to get pregnant. She wanted to start a family. Meanwhile, my life was exactly the same—boring, repetitive, and painfully empty. Painfully lonely.
But I guess, on the bright side, I still had tons and tons of money.
Ugh. I crawled out of bed—distraught, angry, and sick to my stomach—and I stumbled across the penthouse room, my bare feet on hardwood floor. I despised this floor. Hardwood was for dining rooms and entry ways, not bedrooms. It pissed me off, as many random things always tended to do. I reached the bar cart, but, fuck me, it was empty. Of course it was empty. I never kept liquor in my room because I couldn’t handle that sort of temptation. But in this moment, I regretted my personal rule. Well…maybe the ‘no alcohol thing’ was more of a personal guideline. Still, I never kept it where I slept.
I glanced out my window, scratching at an old scar on the underside of my arm. The shining lights of New York City were pretty damn amazing. Pouring myself a glass of water instead of the vodka I really craved, I stared at everything in miniature form. Looking at it all almost calmed me. Almost, but not really. The city was too fast paced and I always felt fast paced while here. I needed something slower before I snapped.
Reaching for my phone, I called my personal assistant, Regina.
It was late. (Or early?) But she answered after only one ring. “Morning, Mr. Maddox. What can I do for you?” her groggy but polite voice asked.
“I need the jet ready for Blue Creek.”
“Blue Creek?” she repeated as if I’d told her I wanted her to go to fucking Jupiter. “But the reopening is Sunday,” she urged.
I didn’t bother responding. Frankly, it bothered the shit out of me that she even questioned me. After a moment, she must have understood why she was getting silence and she muttered, “I’ll make the arrangements, sir.”
“Thanks. Call me when we can leave.”
I clicked off my phone, tossing it on the bed. I needed to pack. But what do you pack to impress a girl who fucking hates your entire existence?
Suits. You pack suits.

** RELEASE BLITZ ** REVIEW ** 'Til Death by Bella Jewel includes ** GIVEAWAY **

Title: ‘Til Death: Volume One
Series: ‘Til Death #1
Author: Bella Jewel

They say there's a fine line between love and hate.
There is.
I married a douchebag.
I didn't know it at the time.
He came in like a handsome stranger and blew me off my feet.
I fell madly in love, like the naive girl I am.
Then he left me high and dry.
Turns out, I was nothing more than a business plan for billionaire playboy, Marcus Tandem.
He needed to be married in order to obtain his grandfathers business, and I was the poor victim in his path.
I believed in what we had, until the truth reared its ugly head.
I never meant anything to Marcus. Not a damned thing.
With my world spinning on its axis, the girl I once was has long since died.
Instead he left me as this empty, emotionless shell.
I may have made a vow before God to love and cherish him ‘Til Death do we part, but it’s time for me to give back to Marcus, exactly what he gave me.
He has to pay.
And pay he will.
*This is part of a two book series and it will contain a HEA – Readers over 18+

Well, hol-ly. Why have I not read a book by Bella Jewel before? Let's not answer that as obviously I've been living under a rock. Annnnnd she's an Aussie too! Why haven't I had a squize and supported that? Let's not answer that either. Obviously I've been comfy under my rock.

To be honest, one of the reasons why I jumped on board to grab a copy was because Bella's going to be one of the authors at an event I'm attending and I wanted to try and read at least one book from each attending author. Well, after reading the synopsis the whole she's-gonna-be-at-the-event thought flew out the window. With a synopsis like that who wouldn't wanna jump on board?!?!

As the synopsis states Katia, is a naïve girl who falls for the charms of Marcus Tandem a millionaire playboy, who marries Katia just so he can fulfil the will obligations his grandfather stipulated to obtain his business, which Marcus has been running for the last ten years

"Very well," I say, standing. "I'll be sure to get right on it."
The lawyer gives me a disgusted look. "And how do you suppose you'll do that?"
I smirk at him. "Simple. I'll find a wife."

I have to say I thought Marcus takes brooding and emotionally stunted to a whole different level, which makes me wonder where Katia's brains went as she was dating this a**hole.

"I said ten minutes, Katia," he growls. I snap my mouth shut. He leans in close, his lips brushing my ear. "When I say ten minutes, I don't mean half an hour."

Oh, that's right, she used the brain between her legs rather than the one in her head (LOL). But hol-ly, looking at the cover, wouldn't you?

"Got a charity fundraiser this weekend," he says, pressing a palm to his cock and adjusting it. "Get a dress." … … "And Katia?"
"Make it short. Short enough I can lift it and fuck you against a wall."

And when the brain in her head starts to ask questions, he does something small, even minuscule, that makes it all better and because he's such an a** that small gesture means a lot.

I mean, he married me, right?
That has to count for something.

Now normally that would piss me off and I'd be wanting to scream at Katia to pull her head out of the sand, and to an extent it did, but damn, Marcus is hot and pure alpha male caveman. Sex solves all problems …

The story is written in alternating POV's as well as alternating in time: past and present. I really enjoyed Ms Jewel's writing style, however it is very short and the synopsis pretty much describes the entire book. So, you will definitely want to read the second part to see what happens: How does she make him pay? I didn't realise until after I started reading that this was a novella (thank you kindle and your location numbers). I had it read within a couple of hours. I will also note that 'Til Death is a two part series, the first ending in a cliffhanger. How bad is the cliffhanger you may ask? I guessed where it was going to end, so I didn’t really feel like I wanted to scream and shout, AND finding out there is a HEA at the end of the second part made me feel a lot better about the abrupt ending. So, if you're after a hot, short read, with a cliffhanger this is your book.

PS. I found out the Marcus was introduced in Ms Jewel's, Jokers Wrath MC series. Can you guess what I just put on my TBR list? ;)
